Atomoxetine Hydrochloride treats Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as part of a total treatment plan, which includes psychological, social and other treatments. The medicine helps to increase the ability to pay attention, concentrate, stay focused and stop fidgeting. The medication works by restoring the balance of certain natural substances (neurotransmitters) within the brain. The medicine is not stimulant and therefore not addictive. It may take few weeks after consumption to treat symptoms.

Atomoxetine Hydrochloride increases noradrenaline in your brain. Noradrenaline is a chemical, which is made naturally; it increases attention and decreases hyperactivity during ADHD.

Consume Atomoxetine Hydrochloride only when and how your doctor has prescribed. Generally, it should be consumed once in the morning or both in morning and afternoon. You can consume it with or without food.

Some adverse effects like stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, constipation, tiredness, loss of appetite/weight loss, dry mouth, dizziness, drowsiness, trouble sleeping, or decrease in sexual ability/desire may occur. Women may come across menstrual cramps or missed/irregular periods.
